Customer
Restaurants provide good food and ambience to customers who come to dine and enjoy the company of friends. Often, restaurant owners use tungsten lamps or halogen lamps to provide the warm yellow lighting. However, these lamps have low efficiencies and consume a lot of electricity. One restaurant owner approached Huge Inventions to solve his problem.

Lamps used
The restaurant used 60W incandescent lamps above dining tables to provide the warm lighting. Huge Inventions provided 5W LED bulbs to replace the incandescent lamps. The LEDs used were warm white, which provide warm ambience required. The restaurant owner was happy with the lighting provided by the 5W LED bulbs.
Savings
The 60W incandescent lamp consumes 60W. The 5W LED bulb consumes 5W. That works out to be a reduction in power consumption of 55W (or 55/60W = 92%). The lamps are turned-on for 10 hours each day. Each LED lamp saves 55W x 10hours = 550Wh or 0.55kWh each day. Taking the electricity tariff as SGD0.25 per kwh, the electricity savings work out to be SGD0.1375 per day. In a year, the electricity cost savings for a lamp is SGD0.1375/day x 365 days = SGD50.20.
Conclusion
The 5W LED bulbs were good enough to replace the 60W incandescent lamps in terms of brightness and color.
